Hayoue & Haochen’s wedding at Botaniq Castle in Tura was the highlight of our summer.
The appearance of the castle speaks for itself and it is perfect for a small wedding, like this was.
The couple – and their guests – traveled all the way from China to say yes against such a dreamy backdrop.
Actually, they couldn’t have found a more fabulous location for this special wedding arch- which, by the way, the groom secretly ordered to be made, honoring the bride’s nickname, which is none other than “Moon”.
The design process proved to be exceptionally easy and fluid; the couple liked the presented ideas at first, which is also a special honor, since the groom himself is a specialist in design who works as interior designer for hotels in his home country.
Unusually, the ceremony did not start in the afternoon to continue with a party that lasted until dawn. But instead the reception was scheduled for 10 am, so we only had a narrow timframe of 3-4 hours, to set up.
The ceremony was followed by an elegant lunch. The tables were abundantly decorated with flower compositions of different heights and sizes, so the flowers really created a rich and lush effect.
Of course, the table set up could not be missing the gold-edged glass plates that echoed warm golden hue of the candle holders and the matte gold napkin rings that elegantly surrounded the napkins.
Guests received personalized menucards with their names written in Chinese and English.
Additionally, all guests received a mini bottle of Viennese Schlumberger Rosé Ice champagne, with which they could toast the newlyweds at the end of the lunch.
For the colors of the decoration, I carefully handselected 3,500 stems of flowers in the most beautiful shades of pink, peach and purple.
We complemented the colorful flowers with bright green plants.
I am sure that this wedding will be my favorite for a long time because of the rich flower installs and the special arch.
